I was doing some research for a writing project I am doing and I came across this website. It is a website where you can literally rent a friend. If you are new to town or don't have a date to the movies or the Christmas party, you just stick in your postal/zip code and start from there.
This intrigues me...not that I need more friends but I'm intrigued as to what kinda people are on there? "Renting" a friend for the Christmas party sounds more like hiring an escort.
I am so temped to fake a name and go on to see what it is...or better yet!! I will put the name of my ex boyfriend and have his name on there...just kidding...kinda. If any of you are bored or brave and give it a whirl please let me know what it's like! Enquiring minds wanna know!!
