Vinegar
I love and adore vinegar, no really I have a weird obsession with all it can do!
My three top favorite things to clean with it is my microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
- Microwave ~ Put about a tablespoon in a microwave safe dish and put it in your microwave for about a minute (depending on microwave). Let it sit for a couple minutes until the smell dissipates a little then open the door and clean off the gunk. Comes right off!
- Dishwasher ~ Put half a cup in a glass measuring cup in the top rack of the dishwasher. Run a normal cycle and you will be amazed at how good this cleans and defunkedifies any smells.
- Washing Machine ~ Put a cup of water in with a normal cycle. Don't put any clothes in the machine. Ensure your water is set to hot for best results.
Baking Soda
Baking soda rocks my world. Basically anything that is stuck or burnt on will come off with baking soda. Google baking soda cleaning recipes and you will be amazed at how awesome it is.
Furniture Polish
I have sooooo much furniture that needs to be polished so I was spending a small fortune on furniture polish and also I am trying to make cleaning products that are not chemicals. My disease doesn't like chemicals. I was searching around and found this awesome recipe at Organized Home. Mix 1 cup of olive oil and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Mix and use a flannel or microfiber rag. It's fantastic!!
