Extravaganza Day 25 ~ Organizing Pictures

This is my biggest project to date.

Over 13,000 pictures and negatives to organize. It is daunting....even typing it I feel exhausted.

I am breaking the process down into steps.

1. Organizing online pictures into years and then broken down into events/people/places.
2. Scan all of the negatives and sort them as above
3. Load all electronic copies of pictures onto an external hard drive and keep in my safety deposit box.
4. I already have all of the actual pictures sorted by person but I need to sort them into years or events. 
5. Write on the back of pictures while I can remember
6. Store actual pictures in a usable format
   
   I found a few pretty storage options.
