If I just help one single person (besides me) feel happier even for a day...then mission accomplished!
I am an absolute A type personality and I am not sure if it is because of the work I do or because of my personality but I needed to break this whole "Get Happy" thing
down into steps or categories. And this is where it gets crazy, in my head I have steps inside categories.
I have 5 categories that I want to work on.
Gettin' Healthy - This is a huge one for me and so many others. For me I have gained 70 pounds since being sick. A lot of this has to do with medications but a lot of this has to do with excuses and laziness. Every Monday I am going to start one positive thing towards feeling better. I may not lose much weight thanks to those meds of mine but I can feel better!
Finances - Oh goodness have we ever learned the hard way some lessons since being sick. Every month I will share our struggles and our successes on this journey.
Happy Soul - As a mom, wife, business owner, volunteer (What person doesn't wear at least a dozen hats). This part of the journey is about me. It might include my husband and children but it might not. Every week I am going to do something just for me! Because of the lack of finances, it will most likely be free things but I will keep you posted!
Happy Heart - You know what gives me the most pleasure? What makes my heart the happiest? Seeing others smile. So this part of the journey will be all about helping others and giving back. Karma is a good thing!
Organization - This one seems kind of weird to be in the journey doesn't it? I love being organized but since being sick and off work, I feel I live in a constant house of clutter. There are days when brushing my teeth and getting dressed is a chore let alone have an immaculate house. Every week I will be getting back to my zone cleaning. I will share my cleaning lists and zone cleaning tips with you.
I will be posting the steps on a monthly basis hopefully depending on how busy life gets or how much Lupus decides to kick my butt.
