This post is about a year in the making. I have had a few emails from readers stating that my blog has changed a lot in the last year. That my posts don't have much emotion and are more about superficial things. This is true...this is because for the last year my heart has been broken and I haven't been able to be happy.
About a year ago I basically was abandoned by some close friends and by my mom & sister. Long boring stories where we each have a different side. This has been a year of heartache because while it sucks that my sister and I don't speak, she has kept the kids from me. This is unforgivable and has left me broken hearted and somewhat of a mess.
So yes I have changed and I don't want to let as many people in because frankly it hurts too much when they leave. So my posts will continue to be about decorating and DIY and the odd thing about our family.
This weekend, I am taking the pictures of my mom and sister off the family wall because I just can't bear to see them everyday anymore. Onward and upward.
